The purpose of PIDlab is to introduce free virtual laboratories (Java applets) for PID tuning, design and application. Using these interactive tools, you can do "PID tuning in one minute". You can learn a lot about PID control and autotuning, predictive control and advanced PID control structures and schemes. The applets can be used for all educational, RTD and commercial purposes. PIDlab is a part of REX web farm.
Contact us if you are interested in implementation of presented algorithms into your device or system. Go to Contlab covering more automation topics. Visit REX Controls if you want to use the algorithms immediatelly. The most of presented algorithms are included in an extensive RexLib block library. You can test it e.g. in Matlab/Simulink™. Moreover, there is a number of target platform for real-time control available on that web.
Download the latest JRE from Oracle Java web to run the applets correctly.
